20" folding bikes from Vienna

In contrast to conventional bicycles, VELLO's folding bikes are handy and flexible and are fundamentally different from the usual "run-of-the-mill" folding bikes. We fold differently! And that makes our bikes particularly stable and powerful. Our folding mechanism is not located in the frame, as is usual with conventional folding bikes. The front wheel of VELLO folds parallel to the frame via the fork cone. The rear wheel is held on the monostay by a strong magnet and can be folded parallel to the frame like the front wheel. This creates a small package with the dimensions H: 57 cm x L: 79 cm x W: 29 cm - this can be easily and simply stowed in special transport bags and taken along in the car, bus or train. The additional bag not only protects the means of transport, but above all your VELLO.

Thanks to our monocoque design of the frame and our unique folding technology, the frame does not collapse even when folded. This is our unique selling point on the market and significantly increases the stability and safety of the folding bike. Furthermore, all of our folding bikes are equipped with 20-inch wheels, which significantly increases the fun of riding. These unique features create an extraordinary riding experience and enable you to use it 100% for everyday use!

Another special feature of the VELLO folding bikes is the foldable luggage rack. The front luggage rack can carry a weight of up to 10 kg and does not restrict folding or steering. In addition, the rear luggage rack can be loaded with up to 20 kg and folded in with the folding mechanism. The folded size only increases marginally. We offer the perfect bike bags to match the luggage racks. Mounted on the side, the Back-Rollers provide up to 20 litres of storage space per side and thus enable larger purchases or excursions. The daypack bags for the front luggage rack are equipped with a shoulder strap and handle, making everyday use simple and uncomplicated.
