VELLO Story
Creating innovative, stylish and at the same time sustainable forms of mobility for the city - with this in mind, Valentin Vodev, industrial designer and VELLO Founder, developed the first sketches for the VELLO Bike in 2013.Accompanied by Valerie Wolff, VELLO Co-Founder, a major milestone was reached in 2014 where the first VELLO Bike was presented. Assisted by a successful crowdfunding campaign, serial production was started.
As Vienna’s first folding bike manufacturer, VELLO creates trend-setting products that convince with patented innovation and design. Prestigious design awards include: Red Dot Design Award, European Product Design Award, Austrian State Award for Design.
VELLO positions itself as a driving force behind the megatrend between connectivity and micromobility, with the goal of revolutionizing the bicycle industry and offering people an environmentally friendly alternative to fossil-based means of transportation.
