Crafted from ultra-light titanium, the VELLO Bike+ GEARS TITANIUM is designed for performance, comfort, and adventure. Its lightweight frame, combined with high-quality components and a choice of 3-speed or 6-speed (3x2) Schlumpf Drive, offers unmatched versatility for any ride. The titanium frame provides exceptional durability, resisting temperature changes and corrosion, while delivering optimal riding dynamics.
The integrated motor with a hidden battery, paired with 20-inch tires and a rigid frame, ensures agility and a smooth, stable ride. It feels just like a traditional bike, but with the added benefit of pedal-backwards regenerative braking. When you pedal backwards, the motor activates regenerative braking, feeding energy back into the battery for an extended range.
Unlike the Bike+ AUTOMATIC TITANIUM, which features automatic gear shifting with an electronic tilt sensor, the VELLO Bike+ GEARS TITANIUM gives you the control to manually adjust your gears to suit your ride.
To upgrade the VELLO Bike+ GEARS TITANIUM from a 3-speed to a 6-speed (3x2), you can pair it with either a Speed Drive or a Mountain Drive.
- The Speed Drive is a high-performance gear option from the Schlumpf Drive system, designed to give you a higher gear ratio. This makes it ideal for flat urban environments, allowing you to ride faster with less effort.
- The Mountain Drive, also part of the Schlumpf Drive family, offers a much lower gear ratio, making it easier to tackle steep hills—up to 17% gradients—thanks to its 2.5:1 gear ratio.
For a smoother ride at higher speeds, the ultra-flat planetary gear built into the bottom bracket is recommended. It provides a comfortable cadence with a gear ratio of 1:1.65, perfect for cruising at higher speeds.
