The VELLO VIA+ is a light and compact 20-inch e-folding bike with the Bosch HubLine rear hub motor. It combines VELLO’s patented diamond frame without a folding joint in the main frame with a removable 250 Wh battery. For longer rides, a second 250 Wh battery can be added — for up to 500 Wh total capacity. It also comes with hydraulic Shimano disc brakes and integrated SUPERNOVA StVZO lighting. The VIA+ TOUR is the sporty version with a Shimano Deore 10-speed chain drivetrain. The VIA+ URBAN is the low-maintenance city version with a Gates Carbon Drive belt drive and UTgear 2-speed internal gear hub.

The robust chromoly diamond frame is made from high-quality Columbus Tubi tubes and does without separating hinges in the main frame. The result is high stability, excellent torsional stiffness and the familiar ride feel of a full-size bicycle. The frame, components and complete bike are tested and certified according to ISO 4210 MTB standards.

With 20-inch wheels and a compact folded size, the VELLO VIA+ folds down to luggage-like dimensions. On many public transport services in Germany, Austria and Switzerland, it can be taken on board free of charge, depending on local operator rules — ideal for commuting, travel and the last mile.

The powerful rear hub motor delivers up to 45 Nm of torque and 400 W peak power. Thanks to the integrated incline sensor, the assistance adapts automatically and dynamically to the gradient and riding situation. Combined with the compact 250 Wh battery, the VIA+ handles demanding climbs with confidence.
Modular battery technology with up to 500 Wh capacity
The e-folding bike comes with a practical removable battery that can be charged easily at home or in the office. One charge delivers a range of up to 62 km. For longer rides, the frame includes an additional mount for a second battery, increasing total capacity to up to 500 Wh.
